Carthage, IL — February 9, 2026 - The Carthage Lions Club invites the community to its 1st
Annual Roar for Community Pride Fundraising Event at Lake Hill Winery, an evening of
dining, entertainment, and charitable giving. Proceeds will fund community projects that improve lives and strengthen local initiatives.

? Admission: $75 per person or $500 for a table of 8
Includes steak and chicken dinner, drinks, live and silent auctions, raffle prizes and
entertainment.

The Carthage Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service
organization. Our mission is simple: to serve our community through projects that promote a variety of initiatives including health, education, and community well-being and improvements. Our club was chartered in May of 1966 and is thriving with over 30 active members. Recent projects have been constructing shelters and other facility upgrades at the Carthage Parks, local student scholarships for continuing their education, local community event support, volunteer labor for community activities, eye glass collection and eye health support as well as many other causes.
