MEMORIAL HOSPITAL EARNS 5 STAR RATING FOR CLEANLINESS

Carthage, IL – Memorial Hospital has been awarded a prestigious 5-star rating for cleanliness based on results from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey.
The HCAHPS survey is a national, standardized tool that measures patients perceptions of their hospital experience, including key factors such as communication, responsiveness, and cleanliness. Surveys were conducted with patients who stayed in hospitals between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024.
Out of thousands of hospitals nationwide, only 374 received a 5-star rating for cleanliness.
Memorial Hospital is proud to be among this select group, with just 10 hospitals in Illinois
achieving this distinction.
