Hope for the Journey Conference
Quincy, IL - Connect Child and Family along with Christian Adoption Resources and
Education (C.A.R.E) are proud to once again bring Hope for the Journey to Quincy, IL on
April 25, 2025, from 8:30-4:00. This event is being held at The Crossing on 48th street. The
picture is last year’s conference.
Hope for the Journey equips professionals, parents, and caregivers with the practical tools
and understanding to build connection and trust with their children and teens,
empowering them to thrive inside and outside their home. Bringing together teaching,
resources, and practical experiences, individuals will gain a deeper understanding of
children’s needs. This is a great opportunity for our area to connect with others that care
for and work with children from hard places. Learn trauma informed strategies with local
teachers, social workers, day care providers, and church family ministries. There will be
attendance certificates for foster parents and continued education credit hours for
teachers.
The day will consist of fellowship, and five powerful, highly practical teaching sessions
diving deep into Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) with content from
professionals in the field. Lunch will be included and a question and answer session will
conclude the day.
Cost is $15, register at: https://careconnect.regfox.com/hope-for-the-journey-2025
