While America’s big cities are a focus for many, there’s something special about small town charm. By analyzing dozens of small cities and towns across the country, a new report found the best small towns to live in across the U.S.

The towns were ranked based on several factors including safety, affordable living, and education.

Quincy, IL is the #10 Best Hometown in the country!

Coming in at #1 is Elmira, NY. Other top small towns include Utica, NY; Hattiesburg, MS; Bowling Green, KY; and Hannibal, MO.

• Most Affordable: Greenville, MS; Keokuk, IA; and Greenwood, MS
