Volunteers Needed for Library Video
Carthage Public Library District and several other libraries in this area received a video
storytelling grant from the Tracy Family Foundation to make promotional videos about our
library. The library will be working with Table Sixteen Production Company from Quincy.
They are coming to Carthage beginning at 9:00 am on Monday, February 20 (President’s Day) to
shoot videos at the library, and will probably be here most of the day. The Library Board and
staff are looking for individuals who would be willing to be interviewed or to give a testimonial
about the library on camera. Also needed are adults, teens, and children to be in background
shots and to help re-create programs and activities.
The videos will be shared on the Library’s website and social media and a segment might
air as a commercial on local television. If you are willing to help, please talk to Amy Gee at
Carthage Public Library, 217-357-3232 or email carthagelibrarydirector@gmail.com.
