Community Flu and Pneumonia Clinics 

Schedule in Hancock County

The Hancock County Health Department has eight community-based Flu and Pneumonia Clinics scheduled at the latter part of September and beginning of October.  All clinics will be held using a drive-thru format.  In order to run as smoothly and safely as possible, participants are asked to look for directional signage at each location.  Signs will indicate where to enter and exit, as well as, inform participants where to go and what to do.  Clinics are as follows; Wednesday, September 28, 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Bowen Christian Church Parking Lot, Monday, October 3, 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the Dallas City Elementary School parking lot, and then from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the LaHarpe Christian Church Parking Lot, Tuesday, October 4, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the Basco Community Building Parking Lot and then from1:30-3:30 p.m. in Carthage at the Trinity Lutheran Church Parking Lot, Wednesday, October 5, 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Hancock County Fairgrounds in Augusta, Tuesday October 11, 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Hamilton Community Building Parking Lot, Wednesday, October 12,1:00-3:00 p.m. in Warsaw at the Bott Community Center Parking Lot.

The cost for the flu and pneumonia shots are as follows;  Flu $30, High Dose Flu $75, Pneumonia $140, and Prevnar 13 $248.  Participants are asked to bring their Medicare or insurance cards, check or cash.  Individuals should check with their healthcare provider to determine which flu and/or pneumonia shot is most appropriate.  Personal healthcare providers know their patients' medical history the best.   If you have questions, please give the health department a call at 217-357-2171 option 3.
