CARTHAGE ~ The Carthage Elementary School District #317 Board of Education voted to approve James (Drew) Dickerson to fill a board vacancy.  Dickerson lives in Carthage with his wife, Courtney, and their three children. Emmalyn and Aubriana are students in the Carthage Elementary School District, and son, Breton, will be joining them soon. Dickerson has an associate degree in agriculture and has spent most of his life involved in the agricultural industry.  He currently manages the family farm alongside his grandfather.  Dickerson is also a crop insurance adjuster.  “I love being a part of our small, growing community. I look forward to working with the board and everyone in the district. My hope is to contribute to the success of CESD by taking a more active role and joining the board,” stated Dickerson.
