Catherine A. “Carrie” Bland Miller, of Warsaw, passed away Friday morning, September 25, 2026, in Olathe, Kansas.
Carrie was born June 12, 1942, in Paris, Illinois, the daughter of Lealand and Mary (Koblezek) Murphy. She was united in marriage to Maurice Bland and he passed away after thirty-nine years of marriage. On November 30, 2013, she was united in marriage to Leonard Miller in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. He survives. She and Leonard were members of the Church of the Nazarene.
Carrie is survived by her husband, Leonard, of Olathe, Kansas;
stepchildren, Kevin (Cheryle) Miller of Warsaw, Jeff (Emily) Miller of Linwood, Kansas, Dawn (Tom) Barnes of Olathe, Kansas and Terry Miller of Waukee, Iowa; many step grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Marion “Mike” Murphy of Los Angeles County, California; two half- brothers, Charles and Robert “Bob” White of Paris, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved.
She was preceded in death by two sons, David and Chad Gill, both at birth; and a brother, Patrick Murphy. 
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 2, 2026, at Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nazarene at 102 N 5th St, Montrose, IA 52639.
