Joseph Bradley “Brad” Bradford, 61, of Hamilton

Joseph Bradley “Brad” Bradford, 61, of Hamilton, formerly of Keokuk, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
Brad was born on December 10, 1964, in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Joseph “John” and Scottie (Seeland) Bradford. Brad graduated from Keokuk High School in 1983 and went on to own The Cellar Bar and Grill in Keokuk for thirty-two years until his retirement in 2019. Brad loved to fish and travel, visiting a foreign country every year for many years.
He was a jokester and loved making people laugh. Brad had an ornery streak with a caring heart, and would help others  whenever  he could.
Brad is survived by his son Michael (Rebecca) Bradford of Warsaw, Illinois; two grandchildren: Hayden and John Bradford, both of Warsaw; his step-son Cody (Heidi) Filz of Wayland, Missouri; and one brother. Brad is preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of Brad’s life will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Friday, September 4, 2026, at DeJong-Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk. Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Michael Bradford for expenses. Memories and condolences may be left at www.printyfuneralhome.com. DeJong-Printy Funeral Home of Keokuk is in charge of arrangements.
