Theresa A. Mason, 69, of Hamilton, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Theresa was born on September 12, 1956, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Paul A. and Mary L. (Wilkens) Amann. On February 11, 2002, she married John Mason at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She is survived by her husband, John, one son, Kendall (Emily) Bush of Rochester Hills, MI, one grandson, Zachary; five siblings, Phil (Janet) Amann of Hamilton, Jim (Debra) Amann of Hamilton, Susan (Greg) Bolton of Hamilton, Mark (Becky) Amann of Pittsfield, IL, and Sarah (Jeff) Oberman of Fenton, MO; several cousins, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Janey Wolgemuth, her nephew, Josh Heitman, and her beloved dog Uno.
Theresa was a wonderful spouse and partner to John, mom to Kendall, and loved and treated Emily like a daughter of her own. She cherished spending time with and spoiling her grandson Zac. Theresa will be remembered for dedicating her life to being around and caring for her large family and group of friends. Theresa was a very stylish and sociable person, enjoyed the company of her friends, and loved to travel with her husband, friends, and family. She earned the nickname “Lucky Charm” because she would often win charity raffles with her friends.
Theresa helped John start Angelini's Ristorante Italiano in Keokuk and became a dedicated contributor to the success of the restaurant over the decades.
Theresa was a member of Church of All Saints Catholic parish in Keokuk, the Keokuk Yacht Club, and a Lifetime Member at the Southside Boat Club in Keokuk. She was an avid supporter of the Hamilton Park District and loved the Hamilton Swimming Pool. Being a very charitable person, Theresa also supported St. Jude’s, United Way, the Keokuk Area Chamber of Commerce, the Warsaw Lion’s Club, and Deer Run Golf Course in Hamilton.
The Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, Thursday, May 28, at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM that evening. A parish rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 29, at Church of All Saints
Catholic parish in Keokuk, with Father Hai Dinh as celebrant. The funeral procession will begin at Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk. A life celebration luncheon will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Keokuk.
The Burial will be on the following day at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 30, at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
