Drucilla “Dru” Ann Cook, 76, of Keokuk, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at River Hills Village in Keokuk.

She was born August 17, 1949, in Keokuk, the daughter of Jack Edward and Vera Mae Post Ricker. Dru graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1967.

On December 22, 1973, Dru was united in marriage to Jay Frank Cook at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Keokuk. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2020.

She was active in the Women’s International Bowling Congress (WIBC) and served as secretary at the Southside Boat Club. She was an avid sports fan who faithfully followed the St. Louis Cardinals and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Dru especially loved supporting her grandchildren in all of their activities and rarely missed the opportunity to attend their sporting events or dance recitals.

Dru is survived by her son, Ryan (Margaret) Cook; her daughter, Cara (Brad) Johnson; her grandchildren, Jake Cook (Amy Griffin), Megan Cook (Dorian Stice), Rylee Johnson (Tallon Blaise), and Jaelyn Profeta (Nicholas), all of Keokuk; and a great-grandson, Brewer Profeta.
