Joan Diane Ashley

 

oan Diane Ashley, 69 of Keokuk, IA, passed away on February 17, 2026 with family by her side.

     She was born in 1956 in Keokuk, IA. She graduated Keokuk High School in 1975 and later received her Associate’s Degree from Southeastern Community College.

     She leaves behind a brother Robert 'Steve' (Angel) Ashley of Hamilton, IL, Bethanie Ashley of St. Charles, MO, Leslie (Jeremey) Jasudowicz of Edwardsville, IL, Brier (Brittany) Ashley of Hamilton, IL. She is survived by several great nieces and nephews; Madlyn Ashley, Arabella Berg, Brylee Ashley, Octavia Jasudowicz and Bowen Ashley.  

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard 'Dick' Ashley, and Helen (Howell) Ashley, one sister, Debra Ashley, brothers Richard and David and her niece, Olivia Ashley.      

     She loved animals especially dogs. Past employers include Methode, Big G, and Casey's. She enjoyed playing Bingo, trying to beat the slot machines, The Monkees, diamond painting, and making crafts with her friends at Riverside Terrace where she recently resided.

     Graveside service will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa at a later date.
