Edward D. Dycus

Edward D. Dycus, 68, of Carthage, passed away at 7:14 AM, Tuesday,
January 6, 2026, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, Iowa.
Ed was born in Canton, Illinois, the son of Bobbie P. and Thelma M.
(Clinton) Dycus on August 17, 1957. Ed was a quiet man that kept to
himself. He was a mechanic that loved cars and earlier in his life appeared
in the “Got it Made” music video by the Slink Rand Group.
Ed is survived by his sister, Susie Schulz of Carthage; and his dog, “Spot”.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Katherine “A.J.”
Dycus, Carol Dycus and Mary Dycus; and a brother, Larry Dycus.
Private services will be held.
Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
