Stacey Ray Sheffler,
Post Acute Care Center in Macomb, Illinois.
Stacey was born on September 20, 1951, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Mural and Glenna
(Acker) Sheffler. He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1969, and on October 16,
1971, he was united in marriage to Connie Carlene Nagel at Bethlehem United Church
of Christ in Sutter, Illinois. She survives. He went on to work in auto part sales, retiring
from AutoZone on July 7, 2018. Stacey will always be remembered for his ornery and
spunky personality and the nicknames he gave everyone.
Stacey is survived by his wife Connie Sheffler of Warsaw; his daughter Stephanie
(Farin) Lawson of Basco; his granddaughter Tayha (Jason) Roush of Johnson,
Nebraska; four great-grandchildren: Caleb, Hunter, Leena and Ember; his brother
Monte (Becky) Sheffler of Eloy, Arizona; two brothers-in-law: Don (Judy) Nagel of
Keokuk and Doug (Anne) Nagel of Huntley, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Stacey is preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws Milton and Carlene Nagel.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Printy Funeral
Home in Warsaw.
