Elsie M. Tuck, 83

Elsie M. Tuck, 83, of Hamilton, passed away at her home at 9:20 AM,
Thursday, November 13, 2025.
Elsie was born May 16, 1942, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and
Leola (Sherrill) Sapp. Elsie had married Harold Atkins and to that union six
daughters were born. They later separated and she was united in marriage
to Dallas Tuck. Elsie had begun her career at the Ammunition Plant near
Burlington and later worked for the Amour Dial Corporation in Ft. Madison
for many years until her retirement. She had been a member of the
Pentecostal Christian Fellowship in Keokuk.
Elsie is survived by six daughters, Julie (Steve Pettey) Atkins of Kansas
City, Missouri, Carla Miller of Hamilton, Pam (Mike) Gutierrez of Panama
City, Florida, Christine Atkins of Keokuk, LeeLee (Perry) Ellingboe of
Hamilton, and Tracy (Duffy) Hoopingarner of Cartersville, Georgia; nine
grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and a sister.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and a private family burial will be held at a
later date. Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is in charge of arrangements.
