Roma Joyce Duffy

Roma Joyce Duffy, a precious little girl, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, at
Barnes Jewish Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Roma was born on August 26, 2025, to her
loving parents, Brigham and Ruby (Edholm) Duffy. Roma brought immense joy and love to her
family in her brief time with them.
Roma is survived by her parents, Brigham (Ruby) Duffy, her sister, Bernadette Duffy, her
grandparents, Jennifer (Jerry) Edholm, Scott Edholm, Barbara Duffy, a great grandma, Judy
Johnson, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family, who will forever cherish
her memory.
She is preceded by her grandpa, Gib Duffy, great grandparents, John and Bernadette Brooks, and
Richard Johnson.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Printy Funeral
Home in Carthage with burial to follow at McKay Cemetery near Burnside, IL. A visitation will be
held prior to the service starting at 10 am. Memorials may be made out to the family for medical
costs or the Ronald McDonald House. Printy Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
