Raphael Herbert

Raphael Herbert, 93, of Nauvoo, passed away at 5:20 PM Monday, August
18, 2025, at his home.
Raphael was born January 3, 1932, in Nauvoo, the son of Hilary and Ethel
(Schmitz) Herbert. He graduated from Saints Peter and Paul High School.
His first job was with the Nauvoo Cheese Factory. He had also worked for
the Sante Fe Railroad, J.I. Case in Burlington and retired as the production
supervisor for Fruehauf Trailor Corporation. Raphael was united in
marriage to Doris Bravo July 3 rd , 1982. He enjoyed house flipping, but his
favorite pastime was gardening.
Raphael is survived by his wife, Doris, of Nauvoo.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is
in charge of arrangements.
