Robert Michael Sharp

1962-2025

 

     Robert Michael Sharp, 62 of Keokuk, IA passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at his home.

     He was born August 21, 1962 in Maumee, OH the son of Robert and Carol Ann Curtis Sharp. 

     Robert had been employed as a chef at Catfish Bend Casino for ten years, until his health failed.

     He was an outdoorsman and loved to go fishing.

     Robert is survived by his wife, Gina Koechle of Keokuk, one daughter, Maddie Sharp of Bonaparte, IA, one son, Jacob Zimmerman of Burlington, IA and one step daughter, Gabriella Koechle (Cameron Thurston) of Keokuk.  He is also survived by his mother, Carol Ann Neiman of Maumee, OH, three siblings, James “Jimmy’ Sharp, Todd Sharp (Tracy) and Elizabeth Eisen (Bob) all of Maumee, OH and many nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. 

     A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

     The Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA is assisting the family with arrangements.
