Jayn F. Evans
1951-2025

Jayn Frances Evans 73, of Fort Madison, IA passed away Monday, March 31 2025 at
The Montrose Healthcare Center in Montrose, IA.
She was born November 19, 1951 in Minneapolis, MN the daughter of Ronald and
Dolly Allen Hill.
Jayn was married to Larry Evans, they later divorced.
She had been employed at Griffin Wheel for 19 years until her retirement.
Jayn was very talented and loved to crochet. She was an artist who could draw just
about anything. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed the cooking channel. She also
was an avid watcher of True Crime. She had a green thumb and worked diligently in her
flower and vegetable gardens. Jayn also liked camping and fishing but most of all
cherished spending memorable times with her grandkids and family.
She is survived by her daughter Kyla Galusha of Keokuk, and three sons, Ron (Molly)
of Alaska, Doug (Tiffany) of Keokuk and Toby (Haley) of Hamilton, eleven
grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, four brothers, Jim, Tim, Scott and Jake, and
three sisters, Karen, Carol and Kelly.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
