Diana Crowell

1954-2024

 

     Diana Crowell, 70, of Keokuk, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, IA.

     She was born January 15, 1954 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of Earl Eugene and Julia Pearl Hanley Pezley. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Nauvoo, IL with the class of 1973.

     On September 24, 1977, Diana was united in marriage to Bennie “BJ” Crowell at the Pentecostal Fellowship Church in Keokuk. He survives.

     Other survivors include one son, Daniel (Jackie) Crowell of Kahoka, MO, her mother, of Nauvoo, seven grandchildren, Todd Crowell, Courtney Bryant, Sherry Crowell, Bryce Crowell, Alexis Crowell, Noah Washburn and Landri Washburn, four sisters, Mary (Doug) Beard of West Burlington, Brenda (Kelly) Logan of Nauvoo, Carol (Mark) Zumdome of Nauvoo, Laura (Mike) Azinger of Nauvoo, two brothers, Dale (Vicki) Pezley of Nauvoo, Ralph (Carla) Pezley of Nauvoo and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

     She was preceded in death by her father, one son, Christopher Crowell, a daughter-in-law Jessica Nicole Crowell and an uncle, Harold Hanley.

     Diana had been employed at Dryden/Sheller Globe/BTR/ Henniges for 33 years and also Casey’s General Store.

     She was a member of Church of the Full Gospel in Keokuk.

     Diana’s hobbies included playing Bingo, picking up treasures at yard and garage sales and spending wonderful times with her family.

     A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA.

     Visitation will be held prior to the service from 6-7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with family meeting with friends at that time.
