Armilda Mae George, 57, of Hamilton, passed away at 12:59 AM, Tuesday,
November 19, 2024, in Lockridge, Iowa.
Armilda was born December 4, 1967, the daughter of Clifford and Leota
“Eileen” (Haile) Eldridge in Canton, Illinois. She attended Dallas City High
School graduating in 1987 and went on to receive her associate’s degree
from Carl Sandburg College. On October 22, 1988, she was united in
marriage to Mark George at the Hamilton United Methodist Church. He
survives. She had worked for several years for Christ Vision in Keokuk.
Armilda is survived by her husband, Mark George, of Hamilton; sons,
Josiah, Geoffery and Noah (Jennifer) George; sisters, Leota “Doddie”
Eldridge, Carrie (Andy) Nunez and Betty “Evie” (Kevin) Worley; one
brother, Earl (Renee’) Eldridge; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Keokuk on
Saturday, December 7 th , 2024, at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held from
9:00 AM until the time of services at 10:00 at the church. Burial will follow in
Myer Cemetery in Dallas City. Memorials may be directed to Printy Funeral
Home to assist with expenses. Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is in
charge of arrangements.
