Janice “Janny” “Red” McKeel, 67, of Warsaw, Illinois, passed away on Thursday,
October 17, 2024, in her home with her family by her side.
Janny was born on July 24 th , 1957, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Sally
(Jairl) Howes. On February 18 th , 1977, she was united in marriage to Michael “Mouse”
McKeel. He preceded her in death in December of 2020. She then united with
significant other of twenty-three years Ron Robinson.
Janny was a homemaker and loving mother to her son Shawn McKeel and daughter
Lindsey Stice. She loved her kids and grandkids very much and enjoyed spending as
much time as possible with them. She also enjoyed spending her free time fishing,
enjoying the outdoors and watching the cardinals with her birdfeeders.
Janny is survived by her significant other Ron Robinson of Warsaw; her son Shawn
McKeel, her daughter Lindsey (Jason) Stice of Fairfield, Iowa; her brothers Ben (Sheryl)
Howes of Mesa, Arizona, Stan Howes of Warsaw, and Danny Howes of Keokuk; and
her father Charles Howes of Keokuk. She is also survived by her very special
grandchildren Nevaeha Stice, and Tisha, Alisha and Brandon Brinkschroeder.
Janny was preceded in death by her mother Sally Howes, her brother Randy “Doo-Rah”
Howes and many special friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 4 to 7 pm, at Printy Funeral
Home, 317 Main Street, Warsaw, Illinois.
