Roger was born October 10, 1955, in Covington, Kentucky, to Jennings and Dorthy
(Rhodes) Thurman. He was united in marriage to Sharon Kay Prewett on August 21,

Roger was a 1974 graduate of Warsaw High School. He worked at J.B. Automatic for
32 years and then worked at Siemans for 7 years, where he retired. He enjoyed

Most of all he loved spending time with his family and grandkids, who were his pride
and joy. Roger was a fighter and he fought hard until the end. He was a devoted
husband, father, son, brother and friend. Roger had a strong faith and was very
knowledgeable of the Bible. His memory lives on through the lives of those around him.
Roger will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by those who knew him.
