Mattie Hope Karriker

2002 – 2024

 

     Mattie Hope Karriker, 21, of Waterloo, IA passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center.

     She was born August 5, 2002 in Virginia the daughter of Keith and Melissa Rowlett Karriker.

     Mattie was a member of Hope City Church in Waterloo.  She volunteered at the animal shelter and homeless shelter.  She enjoyed baking, fishing and reading. 

     She is survived by her mother, Melissa Kensett (Jason) of Ft. Madison, her father, Keith Karriker of North Carolina, a sister, Elianna Kensett of Ft. Madison and extended family members.

     A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

     In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
