Willard Franklin Rampley, 86, of Basco, Illinois, passed away at 10:19 a.m.
on Thursday, June 20, 2024, in his home.
Willard was born on June 28, 1937, in Breckenridge, Illinois. He was the
son of Franklin and Edith (Kammerer) Rampley. He started driving a truck
for family and then went on to start his own trucking business and finally
retired at the age of 80. On October 4, 1955, Willard was united in marriage
to Darlos Plowman. Willard spent many years working on the farm,
meanwhile running the trucking business and was very devoted man to his
family. 
Willard is survived by his three children; Mitch Rampley of Basco, IL,, Missy
(Davey) Huls, of Basco, IL and Scott (Jodi) Rampley of Basco, IL his
grandchildren Amy (Steve) Crawford, Christopher (Trussie) Rampley, Cody
(Maddie) Huls, Wyatt (Taylor) Huls, Chase Kirchner, Marisa ( Alan) Woods,
Madison Huls and Abby Rampley. Also many great grandchildren. Two
sisters Judy Lance and Valeata Monroe. He is preceded in death by his
wife, Darlos (Plowman) Rampley, his parents, a son Jerry Dean Rampley, a
daughter Karla Sue Rampley and brother Oscar Rampley. 
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 24, 2024, at
Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton with burial to follow at South Cemetery
near Basco. A visitation will be held from 9 A.M. until the time of the
service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to Basco
Community Building. Printy Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
