Jesse Q. Devericks

1965-2024

 

     Jesse Q. Devericks, 58, of Warsaw, IL, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the Memorial Hospital in Carthage, IL. 

     He was born June 21, 1965 in Keokuk, IA, the son of Sandra Sapp. He graduated from Warsaw High School with the class of 1983. 

     Jesse was employed with Shade Tree for fifteen years until his health failed.

     Jesse enjoyed playing pool, riding motorcycles and especially enjoyed the annual family float trips. 

     He is survived by a daughter, Aaron Devericks of Luray, MO, two aunts, Glenna Green who was like a mother a mother to him and help raised him and Helen Burns both of Warsaw, and an uncle, Troy Sapp of Denver, IL.   He also is survived by his cousins, Lori Walker (Dean), Daniela Parish-Waltrip (Michael), Tammy Sapp and Stacy Sapp and his four legged companion, Ralphie.

     He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Melvin “Frankie” Devericks.

     A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 22 at the D J’s Bar & Grill in Warsaw, IL from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  

     Memorials may be made to the family.
