then Task Force in Keokuk for 17 years and had currently worked for Production
Manufacturing in Warsaw for 10 years. Mike enjoyed tending his Koi and plants
at his pond and his dog, Pistol Pete. He also enjoyed shooting pool, fishing for
Walleye and Catfish and mushroom hunting. His favorite pastime, however, was
time with his grandchildren and Mike was always the life of the party wherever he
was.

cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Bentley James Kensett;
siblings, Richie and Cassie Shearer; a nephew, Steven Wharton.
Family services will be held at a later date, but in the meantime, Mike had
encouraged his family and friends to “tip one back” in his memory. A memorial
fund has been established. Printy Funeral Home of Warsaw is in charge of
arrangements.
