Martens, Dylan Campbell (Alli), Mason Baker, Logan Baker, Lylah Baker, Colton Baker, Luke Baker and Remi Baker and three great-grandchildren, Jackson Riddle, Grayson Riddle and Wyatt Martens.  He is also survived by one half-sister, Linda Blankenship (Gordy).

He was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Robert and Simone Lloyd.

Walt was the owner of Keokuk Contractors in Keokuk, IA until his retirement in 2011.

He was a member of Quail Forever and a lifetime member of the Keokuk Sports Boosters.  Walt was known for his service to the community.  He was a volunteer for the Jackson Township Fire Department and he also volunteered at God’s Way Food Pantry.

Faith was an active and vital part of his life.  He enjoyed reading his Bible and participated in Bible studies.  Walt was an outdoorsman and loved hunting.  Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and loved spending time with them.

According to his wishes, there will be no services.
