Judith "Judi" Ann Nagel

Judith “Judi” Ann Nagel, 59, of Warsaw, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.

 

Judi was born on September 12, 1962, in Circleville, Ohio, the daughter of George and Helen (Fausnaugh) Adkins. She graduated from Woodruff High School in Peoria in 1981. On August 11, 1989, she was united in marriage to Rick Nagel in Keokuk, Iowa. He survives. 

 

Judi was employed in several positions over the course of her career, and held employment as a bank teller, a school secretary in Hamilton and a cashier at HyVee in Keokuk. She enjoyed spending her free time gardening her plants or spending time in the water, whether it be a hot tub, pool or the ocean. She also loved dogs. When she was pregnant, Judi was a member of an online group called “September Mommies” and stayed in contact with those women throughout the rest of her life.

 

Judi is survived by her husband Rick Nagel of Warsaw; her son Nicholas Nagel of Hamilton, Illinois; three sisters: Cheryl (Donald) Pedroza of Peoria, Illinois, Brenda (Dave) Veres of Florida and Georgia (Steven) Reinholdt of Peoria; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Judi is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Pamela.

 

A graveside service at Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw will be held at a later date.

 

Memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice.
