Rosemary Jean Flesner

Rosemary Jean Flesner, 84, of West Point, Illinois, passed away at her home Saturday morning, January 23, 2021.

 

Rosemary was born September 16, 1936, the daughter of Henry and Marie (Schoch) Johnson in Carthage.  On March 1, 1953, she was united in marriage to Donald L. Flesner at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bowen, Illinois.  He survives.  Rosemary was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and enjoyed many years of cards with the Night Owl Card Club.

 

Rosemary is survived by her husband, Donald L. Flesner, of West Point; four children, Kent (Connie) Flesner and Gene (Valerie) Flesner of West Point, Kristine (Edward) Mennemeyer of Old Monroe, Missouri and Brent (Dena) Flesner of Springfield, Illinois; grandchildren, Amy (Ryan) Shirey, Brian Flesner, Sheena (Corey) Ramsey, Shianne (Zach) Allen, Shea Flesner, Shad Flesner, Erin Mennemeyer, Logan (Dustin) Dalton, Kamryn Mennemeyer and Ella, Jack and Luke Flesner; great grandchildren, Mira and Logan Shirey, Pearl and Paisley Ramsey and Westlynn and Willa Allen.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Susan Flesner; and a sister, Lois Johnson.

 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday evening, January 25, 2021 at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage.  Private family services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bowen with burial in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bowen.  Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
