Martha Ann Habben, 85, of Carthage, passed away at the Montrose Care Center Monday, December 14, 2020.

Martha was born February 21, 1935, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Dorothy (Lafeber) Spring.  She was a 1953 graduate of Carthage High School.  In May of 1976, she was united in marriage to Curtis Habben and they farmed west of Carthage until his death in August of 2007.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Carthage.

Martha is survived by nieces and nephews, Leo (Roscel) Spring, Michael (Andrea) Spring, Melissa (Mike) Murphy and Monica Spring.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curtis; and her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mildred Spring.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Carthage with burial to follow in Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage. Memorials may be directed to the Hancock County Dog Pound/ACO.  Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
