Ruth Arlene Roberts, 89, of Hamilton, passed away at 4:00 PM Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Keokuk Area Hospital.

Ruth was born May 28, 1931, the daughter of Roy and Esther (Williams) Davis in Powdertown, Iowa.  She had worked at Huiskamp Shoes in Keokuk in her younger years and later worked for Dadant and Sons and most recently Blessing Home Health Care.  On February 19, 1977, she was united in marriage to Herman Leroy Roberts.  He preceded her in death in 2014.  Ruth enjoyed camping, feeding birds and word search puzzles.  She also collected Barbie dolls, Cabbage Patch Kids and Mickey and Minnie Mouse paraphernalia.  She loved playing Bunco with her friends in Lima and reading her Bible daily.  She attended Park View Bible Church in Hamilton.

Ruth is survived by her son, Neil Smith, of Hamilton; step-children, Dickie (Kim) Roberts of Hamilton and Rhonda (Wayne) Overkamp of Hermann, Missouri; grandchildren, Sheri (Kevin) Ritter, Chris (Heather) Roberts, Dustin (Christy) Wood, Kristin (Jeremy) Bono, and Daniel (fiancé, Heather Brown) Wood; great grandchildren, Mason and Drew Ritter, Kennedy and Dawson Roberts, Aubrey and Alexander Wood and Gabriella and Benjamin Bono; a sister, Norma Reynolds and a brother, Kenny Davis, both of Keokuk.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy Roberts; a brother, Vernon Davis; and three sisters, Anna Mae Russell, Eunice Russell and Marjorie Davis in infancy.

Private family services will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Printy Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held without the family present from 3:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday evening, December 9, 2020 at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton.  Memorials may be directed to the Park View Bible Church in Hamilton or the Arthritis Foundation. Burial will be in the Keokuk National Cemetery next to her husband.  Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is in charge of arrangements.
