William Edward “Bill” Beath, 69, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 6, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
Bill was born December 6, 1950, the son of Everett William and JoAnna Joy (Becker) Beath in Peoria, Illinois. Bill served in the U.S. Army and worked as a machinist, CNA and most recently as a security guard. On October 11, 1991, he was united in marriage to Margaret Milbert in Quincy, Illinois. Bill loved being a grandfather and reading his Bible every day.
Bill is survived by his wife, Margaret of Hamilton; a son Billy (Anna) Beath, Jr. of Fallbrook, California; stepchildren, Rhonda (Jeff) Noble of Hamilton and Charles Klusman of Quincy; grandchildren, David, Mikhail, Beau, Noah, Brianna, Maeko and Kai Beath, Andrew (Brandi) Sparrow, Christopher (Jessica) Sparrow, Mack Sparrow, Amanda (Jeff) Maxwell, Mitchell Noble, Payton, Kaitlyn and Gage Klusman; great grandchildren, Liam Sparrow, Jayden, Rachel and Ryan Maxwell, Dalton Weaver, Ava and Anna Noble and Noah Beath due any day; great great grandchildren, Wyatt and Waylon Maxwell; his mother, Joy Beath of Springfield, Illinois; a sister, Helen K. Beath of Texas; and a special aunt, Jessie Damarin of Taylorville, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Private family services will be held at this time with a celebration of Bill’s life held at a later date at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton. Memorials may be directed to the family of William Beath. Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
