Lloyd Wayne Little, 72, of Blandinsville, Illinois, passed away peacefully Friday, June 19, 2020 at his home. He will be missed by all.
Lloyd Wayne was born on May 13, 1948 to Guy Wayne and Bernice Lanier Little in LaHarpe, Illinois.
He married Jody Graham on June 12, 1976 in Biggsville, Illinois. Together they had two sons; Curt (Amy) Little of Carthage, Illinois and Stephen Little of Blandinsville. In his words, his two sons were his greatest and proudest accomplishments. Also surviving are his mother, Bernice of Stronghurst; one grandson, Draven Little; two sisters, Patricia (Phil) Peterson of Batavia, Illinois and Pamela (Todd) Stevenson of Stronghurst and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Lloyd was raised and educated in Stronghurst, Illinois where he graduated in 1966. He still stayed in touch with many of his classmates. He then attended Northwest Missouri State, graduating in 1970 with an Industrial Education degree. He went on to teach at the Kewanee High School for nine years. He worked for Pioneer Hi-Bred Int. from 1980 until 2015 and wore many hats there.
Lloyd loved the outdoors and his many hobbies and jobs including life guarding, scuba diver, carpenter, motorcyclist, hunter, fisherman, camper and anything to do with his loved Gordon Setters.
The family invites friends to celebrate Lloyd Wayne’s life 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Lloyd’s favorite hunting spot, East County Road 2200 North, LaHarpe, Illinois 61450.
