Theodore “Ted” Moyes, 54, of Carthage, passed away at his home Friday, November 12, 2021.

Ted was born June 24, 1967, the son of Fred and Dixie (Bowers) Moyes in Burlington, Iowa.  He attended Hamilton Schools and was most recently employed by the Carthage Livestock and The Wood Inn.  Ted was characterized by his big heart.  He was always cheerful and ready to help anyone.

Ted is survived by his siblings, John (Rhonda) Moyes, Debbie (Cole) Little, Fred (Cindy) Moyes, Mark (Regina) Moyes, Phil Moyes and Theresa Bryant; children, Polly (Robert) Stockton, Aundrea Reynolds and Klaytin Reynolds; grandchildren, Kayden, Gracie, Evan and Kimber; step-mother, Mary Moyes; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.   Memorials may be made to Printy Funeral Home for funeral expenses.  Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
